This is my bezier curves assignment.

I chose to save this picture in the PNG format because it's a format thats suitable for photographic images. It also makes the photo clear.


I found an image to recreate. I made various layers. One layer for the body,one for all the different rings etc. I then locked the original photo,so I wouldn't mess that up. I started on the ring and I used 5 anchor per ring. In  my assignment I used the eye dropper to figure out the accurate colour,for the candle.

The challenges were that I didn't know how to use the pencil tool, correctly. I had trouble with making the image look realistic.

I think for a person who's not used to using illustrator, I believe I did a pretty good job. I'm proud of my work.

File format comparison: The PNG format is much smoother and has a better quality.

The lines look smoother and the colour is crisp using the PNG file.

Personal features and characteristics: My jaw line defines me, I wanted to change the colour palette to a dark brown so my jawline could stand out. Also my nose is a different shade, so its notice .

Technical information: I took a photo and worked on top of it. I think it was successful. The photo layer was on top of the photograph.
